Communication is essential
In our foreign language educational project the main objective is to stimulate the progress of the students so that they are able to communicate autonomously in several languages (English and French).
Through a Active methodology, that facilitates the natural language learning, students make fun and motivating activities based on the analysis of the four language skills: comprehension and expression to written and oral skills.
English
The teaching of English as a Second Language through real and communicative situations is one of main keys to success. In this way, Liceo students start from an early age to learn English through games, active communication, meaningful learning, ICTs and experimentation in class. They learn by doing.
This kind of communication is carried out through English language with the aim of transmitting the English culture and language specifications. Besides, a native conversation assistant comes to our school every week to reinforce Speaking skills and main contents with each class during half an hour.

French classes
For the learning of the French, that we started in 3º Primary education, we start with songs and strings, which are the first resources to get an intonation approach.
Later we present the sounds different from those of our language and, with images of isolated vocabulary objects, we try to iron out pronunciation difficulties. Little by little we include more complex sentences so that they globally understand the ideas and can express theirs.
In addition, We started approaching French geography and culture.
